Poverty affects more than income. Access to skills, finance, education and wellbeing can influence a person’s choices and the resilience of a household. Kafiti Foundation’s mission brings these connected needs into one broader purpose: supporting communities to build more sustainable futures.
Economic empowerment is one part of that work. Training can support a new skill; entrepreneurship support can help someone pursue an income-generating activity; and access to productive assets can create a practical link between learning and earning. Education, health and environmental responsibility provide the wider context in which those opportunities can last.
