About the foundation

What does Kafiti Foundation focus on?

Kafiti Foundation is a Tanzanian non-governmental organisation focused on poverty reduction and opportunities for women, youth and underserved communities. Its areas of work include economic empowerment, education, health, environmental sustainability and good governance. Read our mission and values.

Where is the office?

Plot 32 B, Magaka Street, Kahama – Ilemela, Mwanza, Tanzania. Call or email before visiting to confirm arrangements. Programme locations and availability should be checked with the office.

Programmes & participation

How can I find a programme that suits me?

Start with the programme areas, then contact the office with your location and interests. Ask which activities are currently available and whom they are intended to support.

Can I apply through this website?

This website does not currently accept programme applications. Use the programme enquiry contacts to ask for the correct application process.

What are the eligibility requirements and costs?

Requirements and any costs depend on the programme. Ask the office about eligibility, intake dates, selection, required documents and any applicable charges before making an application or payment. A programme description on this website does not confirm that an intake is open.

How do I enquire about microloans or motorcycle financing?

Contact the office and specify the type of support you are interested in. Request current terms, eligibility, documentation and repayment information where applicable. The website does not approve financing or guarantee access to a loan or asset.

Partnerships & support

Can an organisation propose a partnership?

Yes. Introduce the organisation, its area of work and the collaboration you would like to discuss. Explain the communities, location, resources and proposed timing. See partnership enquiries.

Are volunteering or mentoring opportunities available?

You can enquire about contributing relevant skills. Share your experience and availability with the office. Current roles, placements and arrangements must be confirmed; this website does not list an open volunteer intake.

How can I make a donation or offer resources?

Contact the office to discuss current needs and confirmed arrangements. There is no online donation checkout on this website. Read about offering support.

Information & accountability

Do the impact figures represent different people?

Not necessarily. A person may be included in more than one activity or beneficiary group. Do not add the figures together as a unique total. The impact page includes source notes and reporting dates.

Are planned targets already achieved?

No. A figure marked “Planned” describes an ambition or future target. It is separate from results already reported.

How can I request documents or raise a concern?

Contact the office with the topic, programme or published figure you are asking about. For feedback, explain what happened and the response you are seeking. Avoid sending sensitive personal documents in an initial enquiry. See information and accountability.

Does the website track individual visitors?

The site records aggregate pageviews, broad traffic-source categories and estimated device types. Its analytics counter does not store IP addresses, visitor identifiers or tracking cookies. Read the website privacy information.
